The project involved the renovation of an old taxi garage and its conversion to an exhibit space for contemporary photography and sculpture. Because the exhibit space is located on the second floor, an inviting transition was designed to entice visitors to enter. Existing skylights were refurbished and struc-ture was exposed, emphasizing the height of the ceilings and the scale of the space. Recently the gallery expanded to the first floor creating a large scale art gallery.
Eugene Colberg directed the project while Associate at Rogers Marvel Architects
