The 20,000 SF project creates inviting spaces for the NYU department of Sociology, inte-grating historic architectural elements such as vaulted ceilings, cast iron columns, and brick walls, into modern, fully equipped workspaces. Faculty offices and student seminar rooms are connected by generous occupiable corridors and communal areas designed to stimulate academic and social interaction.
